How to make Avocado Paratha

  • Step 1

    To prepare this delicious dish, wash the avocado and coriander leaves under running water. Then, cut open the avocado and remove the pit. Mash it into a bowl and keep aside. Using a clean chopping board, finely chop the coriander leaves and add them to the bowl.

  • Step 2

    Now, in the same bowl, add the whole wheat flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, carrom seeds, lemon juice, and water. Knead the mixture to form a soft and smooth dough. Let the dough rest for a while.

  • Step 3

    Next, divide the dough into small portions and roll it into small balls. Flatten it with the palm of your hands, and then, using a rolling pin, roll it out in a circle.

  • Step 4

    Heat a tava over a low flame and grease it with ghee. Carefully, place the paratha on it and cook well from both sides. Apply more ghee is required.

  • Step 5

    Once the paratha is done, transfer it to a serving plate and enjoy with curd or pickles.
