Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson is missing the Indian Premier League match against Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The New Zealand player has returned back home, citing personal reasons. He will, however, reportedly join his side for their next match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, scheduled to take place on April 27.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is leading SRH in the Kiwi star’s absence against CSK. The last time Bhuvneshwar captained SRH was when Williamson got injured, earlier this year.

The visitors brought Shakib Al Hasan back into the side in place of Williamson. Manish Pandey also returned in place of Shahbaz Nadeem. “We would have bowled first too. We will miss Williamson but Warner and Bairstow have been brilliant for us. Not really worried about the middle-order, they have not got much chance in the middle. But we all know they are talented. Manish Pandey comes in place of Nadeem,” Kumar said at the toss.

Chennai Super Kings made one change to the side. The spinner Harbhajan Singhreplaced Shardul Thakur. Speaking after winning the toss and electing to field, skipper MS Dhoni said: “We will bowl first. It is good to be back at home. We will be here for the next 10 days. When you are not travelling it brings down the fatigue. We have made one change, Harbhajan comes in place of Shardul Thakur. our top-order needs to be consistent. All the batters have been batting well but they need to take care of their shot selection.”
